The Education Business
Education is big business especially in developed and developing countries. In every Asian city, there are thousands of private and public education providers such as schools, tuition centres and education centres that are very profitable. This is because every parent knows the importance of education and is willing to invest a lot of money on their children to make ensure that they do not lose out to other people’s children.
Currently, almost all education providers teach contents in the form of subjects such as English, Chinese, Mathematics and Science.
Except for real education experts, very few people realized that successful education must start by teaching students how to learn (learning abilities) in addition to what to learn (contents).
Therefore we have an unique technology and a business opportunity which is fundamentally and educationally sound. While education providers teach what to learn, we can partner them to teach their students how to learn thereby increasing the profits of the education providers too.
Rev. Dr. Ng Meng Lek is at the forefront of this research work. He is a recognized education expert and had been invited by TV and Radio stations and education institutions in Singapore, China, Hong Kong and Macau for his views. His views and articles are well accepted by professionals in the field of child-care, kindergarten and children development centres.
He has developed his special training materials over 20 years and had successfully used them on 1200+ normally intelligent children as well as sub-normally intelligent children so that they can all score much better in their studies while enjoying the education process.
In a well documented reported case in Singapore, a 6-year old child was tested to have an IQ of 67 (normal child’s IQ is 100) and was not encouraged entry into any public primary school. The parents sought the help of Rev. Dr. Ng. After 2 months of training, the child was re-tested by the same government appointed psychologist and he found that the child’s IQ has improved remarkably to 87. The child was thus accepted into public primary school. After another 2 months of further training, the child was re-tested (by same psychologist again) and amazingly received an IQ score of 111. This same child is now enjoying himself in school because, to him, education is now really fun.
Dr. Ng wishes to expand his work using computer technology directly to help children by teaching parents, grand-parents, educators and stakeholders his simple training methods. Contact us to arrange for a seminar to find out more.
